Glad to share a prestigious moment to meet and Present my book titled “Directors & Corporate Governance” to Dr. Bhasker Chatterjee, a former IAS officer. He is widely acclaimed as “The Father of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India.

 

Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, a Post graduate in History, M.Phil, M.B.A., Ph.D. & LLB. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1975 and has held many distinguished positions including Secretary to the Government of India and when he was DG & CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, he spearheaded the National Foundation for Corporate Governance. He was instrumental in shaping the contours of the subject of Corporate Governance. As Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises, he was led reform and change in the Public sector, laying special emphasis on Corporate Governance, Revitalization of the MOU system, Human Resource Management, Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.
